leaving alemaña this time at klingenthal. saw some dying villages on the way and near the border a lot of times: umleitung crimmitschau, zwickau (there was a manifestación at the vw werk), werdau. schneeberg, kirchberg, schmarrtanne. finally kraslice (210) to sokolov. also there umleitung without signs and guessing, but it is a good idea to stay at 210, if you can find it. small weekend houses somewhere at nowhere. passing by these big flowers, that look like anis plants - but in a kind of chernobyl edition. 211 to kladskà and down on a bici route to mariánské lázne, which we wanted to see, but was just another proof of that we don't have anything in common with this chichi fake world. everything is a hotel, pension or restaurace. in between a vietnamese selling cigarettes, the only connection with normality. so we drove back to kladská, where we have seen a small pension in the woods with a view over a lake. wonderful food: wild boars on the wall and on our plate.

there are castles and churches and monasteries all over czech republic, but the west part is still most impressive so far.

axat- quillian (d117) - carcassonne (d118) - mazamet: dying city somehow, better to sleep outside in one of these chambres d'hôtes in montagne noire than in mazamet.

direccíon st.afrique-st.rome de tarn (d993-d992) millau (n9). in the middle of nowhere, near millau: the bridge

millau -aquessac-le rozier (d907): through the impressive george du tarn: nice during off season, which means anytime but agosto; otherwise a hazzle to overtake all those camping caravans.

quezac-florac(n106) - no idea how we came to bollène, didn't have a map then; anyhow, any yellow street will do it; yellow on the map means in france you have the street for your own. hardly one from the bicycle species neither aravans can be found and seen at this time nor a lot of motos.

bollène-nyons (d94). best place to sleep in this area is buis les baronnies. we didn't make it there this time and slept in a hotel on the corner d94 to d64. the place is ok. the owner looks like a former porn moviestar, who choosed to set up a hotel in no-where-land. the kitchen is good y mucho and in the end we got half of the drinks for free. no breakfast, though.

next day: sahune - rémuzat-serres-gap (d994)-embrun - mont dauphin (n94)-guillestre-chateau queyras (d902)-molines en queyras (d5)-col angel (d205) where the marmots are, dirección italy and therefore back into a zone where hotels are expensive and people cheat with the quality of food most of the time.

as we are not interested in italy anymore, we know südtirol and every mountain there, also didn't have time to stay in bobbio - we took the autostrada until vicenza to realize, that you can't find a room there without reservation. anyhow the people are helpful. just walk into a hotel and they will make the calls for you until they find something. even a 4* hotel is cheaper there than a fucked up 2* anywhere else on the road.

reaching austria means visiting friends and family on the road and vienna: the driver gets sick ;(
