zero and one is and was a problem, well but it this way: for a long long time. much ado about nothing is a nice paper on the topic. it's a collection of a discussion process, starting 1958 until 1967: towards standards for handwritten zero and oh, mean the character between n and p. collected by r.w.bemer, 1967. a paper i which the opinion of nasa, ibm,asa and share are united.

the problem remains unsolved, when i consider the line on my tans: we don't use o, they say. back than the topic was discussed at some points at a problem of keybuncher and man's recognition.

nice tool

and nice to see that online books are getting readable and have useful tools added. por ejemplo: safari. cross references, links out from the capital to other books for more information where it makes sense. more useful than the suggestion from some book shops, bookmarks, notes and email function - well, that is something i don't really need. anyhow, free trail for 14 days ...

lesen hat viel mit fühlen zu tun; und das buch landschaft des wissens fühlt sich wirklich gut an.

Das fertige Buch enthält jedoch weit mehr, als die Entscheidungen des Typografen, es enthält die Lebens- und Arbeitshaltungen, die Hingabe, die Sorgfalt und Liebe aller beteiligten Menschen. Das ist spürbar, wenn das Buch in den Händen liegt. (via reteid, interview mit clemens schedler, gestalter, aber vor allem mensch)
