paper-the-less

there is this phrase popping up again about the paperless office. In the 1970s it was introduced for marketing, for selling computers. It was the time of energy - and also paper crisis.

This was an interesting twist, as at that time, the computer industry didn't just rely on paper, but had created a job for paper work: the punchcard operator. yet, the 3rd generation of computers should make a difference. of course.
