in europe sind softwarepatente nicht erlaubt (art.52epu). das europatentamt lässt aber nichts unversucht, wie es scheint, und die diskussionen in der kommission halten an, genauso wie der kampf der eurolinux alliance. aber es gibt sie schon, die eu patente auf software: sun erhält ein eu patent, das auf deutsch einfach genial klingt: zustandsloser einkaufswagen im netz . eingereicht 1996, bewilligt 2000.
