there might be more osi around in the future. - or some would like to see that and to stick with the line: it was always better anyhow.

they call it lisp [locator/id separation protocol], everyone else knows as a programming language. some people who have been around long enough call it a reinvention of osi clnp addressing scheme.

The intellectual property - i.e. patents possibly present - of (parts of) the standard is made irrevocably available on a royalty-free basis.

There are no constraints on the re-use of the standard.
