he gives credits to jack ruina and talks a little bit about "project agile", the arpa study on counter insurgency strategy, suggesting if you wanna know what they are doing now, look at northeast thailand in the 70s ... it's a general purpose overview, leaving a lot of questions open - if you are interested in policy and defence. hope he will write down the answers one day. well done if the purpose was to point future historians to another direction ...
