more and more cio's, ceo's and cfo's fear to end up in prison, you say. there are already a lot of ex's there: enron in 5b, worldcom in 11c and martha just released. business schools are already bringing their students there. for ethical reasons, they also say. what about if we create a new job, you mumble. between you and me we can call it scapegoat for a moment. won't be official, though. what about having someone on the payroll for being there if something goes wrong? he will have to deal with the courts, pay the fee or go to prisons, if it comes down really hard. still, seldom does. anyhow, we will pay ¿it? handsome for that. ... when it comes down to it-security within corporations some estimate that there could be a new job available: call it corporate scapegoat: earn $$ by taking our §risks of being none compliant and irresponsible. you may end up in prison, but we are willing to pay handsomely for that. unfortunately company act doesn't allow that yet. wondering if trust and reliability have anything in common. ...
