give beat to your flowers

to get your 5 senses together. that's what the cnn en español version somehow tries to tell (via oficina). others tell the story less dramatical, still it sounds absurd:

Telecommunications equipment maker Let's Corp. and satellite radio station Music Bird said Friday they have developed technology for making natural flowers vibrate to create musical sounds. The system, comprising an amplifier, vase and an acrylic resin cylinder, makes flowers' petals and leaves vibrate and transmit sounds, just as the paper cones of stereo speakers vibrate, the two said. They said they will put the system on the market possibly in August. The system has a machine inside the vase that creates minute vibrations, which are then transmitted to flowers via the acrylic tube. The resulting vibrations of the flowers create sounds. (infobeat)
