idc published an article key lessons from 3GSM world congress 2004. i haven't been in cannes, but at "european wireless" that happened to be a marketing free zone. the key sentence i heard there was simple: mobile IPv4 is a hack. well, it can't be anything else, if you take in account the history of ipv4. idc is funny to read, anyhow. according to them idc, (integrity,accuracy, insight) once reported that on an average day in 2000, 9.7 billion email messages were sent worldwide. By the year 2005 that number will grow to 35 billion. i would like to know how they can come up with this number: by asking nsa? (couldn't resist) ... Comment |
