chronology

not so bad to look through idm. at least in this older issue i found a link for <historic>: microprocessors of the past and present. the table of contents looks promising.

another chronology, recently updated and research material for a book project, using - as it seems to me - a lot out of the patent database. also nice findings like: 1969. (month unknown) * Honeywell releases the H316 "Kitchen Computer", the first home computer, priced at US$10,600 in the Neiman Marcus catalog

the guy also has other timelines on handhelds, commodore, workstations, amiga, video games, ... His Day Job I currently work for the BC Ministry of Forests, in the Research Branch. I work in the Forest Productivity section. Within that, I am in the Stand Modelling Unit, as the Stand Modelling Analyst. I am a computer programmer working in modelling how trees and forests grow. I apply my interest in graphics and raytracing in as much of the work as I can.
