measure my information motzes, 02.05.2008 23:44h
if i can generate with one of my fingers 14bits of information per second, how much can i generate per day with ten? and count my lid in ... 14bits/s corresponds to choosing from say 8 different locations which conveys 3bits and one can do this 5 times per second. this will be 15, but that is the sort of way that they are coming up with: one can point at many different locations several times per second. ¿who claims science is precise? yet, some thing to consider while the update is up and running and this door remains closed. ... i didn't. they did. information theorists theory. counting the position that are possible to point at in one second with one finger= 8 positions, see above. therefore they say, keyboards are unecessarily limitating the possible output of information. with other tools we could even produce much more waste of i(n-formation). what you need though is electricity and a computer and visual attention truly. ... link ...
