even since that blog exists, you can't blame him of being concise: 2013: the human brain will cost only $1.000, that he declared 2006. 2002 it was even cheaper: "1$ for a brain", he told his german audience. 2007 he said:we will have reverse-engineered the human brain, in 2020; no, he said it already 2006 somewhere else; and now, 2008, we will have to wait until 2029, but then, yes then machine will match the human brain. new is only larry page (google), the for me strange figure craig venter (genome project) and some more are joining the race. ... don't get me wrong, he did some things. i may like what he did in the past, but sure i don't see any reason why i should consider his rehashed visions as being "brainy". ... link ... Comment  |
