one year ago we stood at the airport in bratislava, watching airforce one and police controls, security guys etc, all for the bushy man and condoleezza arrival at a time before the last two scheduled flights could leave ground. we should have been on our way to berlin to sign the contract for our new flat, which we finally handled by driving back to vienna and catching another plane ... after hours of yes and no and yes and no from the people in bratislava.
