(via james shore; [as it seems this community collects people with the same or nearly the same name, there is a jim shore too, who wrote fail fast]) i still hear scott ambler saying: ¡give me my whiteboard back! model driven architecture is not for everyone, these mba guys try to sell you uml as a standard, ¡it's not! and his doubts that programmers are visual thinkers: There is an underlying assumption in traditional software engineering that we are visual thinkers as a general populus. now that is true among people in general, like 80, 90% of people lean towards visual thinking, but in the it-community I don't think it is so true. not_visual (audio/mpeg, 534 KB)there is no proof yet. game developers are maybe different, at least they are fast, if you follow this report on pair programming, workspace, in short xp, or in meta: agile programming. don't forget to collect your bonus by clicking/going there. where they all nest. ...
