and darmstadt at least has a sonderbare beuys exhibition. a zoo/nature exhibit with texts written by teachers in the 50s or before and wonderful, really wonderful sculptures collected by simon spierer. all at the landesmuseum. the "city" looks better at night than during day time. i found my espresso, though. something i can't say about other german cities. ...
