ibm/google project for cloudy computing named clue. i don't know, but once upon a time it was called net computer, 1996. i still love the mtx archive for that ;) i didn't remember the net-computing idea to sell dumb terminals, but recall timesharing ... that far i didn't hear any resistance when bringing it up. the difference is just: back then - in the 1960s - it was because machine time as well as memory was a scarcity. nowadays they talk solely about ¿who owns/has more memory? yet for what sort of deliverance does centralization stand for these days? ...
