ePassports are viewed as a possible foundation for a PKI (Public Key Infrastructure). If you project into the future, this statement seems to mean that businesses could come to rely on your ePassport for commercial transactions ... another rsa guy wonders, why credit cards are still so lame and are not allowing one time code transaction. e-ink would make it possible to change with every transaction the three last digits on the card. but still the biggest whole are their databases. you don't need a lot to get in there - everyone agrees on that. ...
