worth to look through and to read. from time to time, more and more. concept: open book is not designed to replace printed books, nor emulate HTML. Rather, it is a free, browsable, nonproprietary, fully and deeply searchable version of the publication which we can inexpensively and quickly produce to make the material available worldwide.. so is recht. the first book i was reading there has the title: the digital dilemma, 2000. about digital property rights :) ... the reseach project building a future for software history call for papers: "Iterations: An Interdisciplinary Journal of Software History, a new peer-reviewed electronic journal published by the Charles Babbage Institute, is now seeking article submissions. Iterations provides an outlet for scholarly articles on software history, a forum for first hand accounts of significant events and developments in software, reviews, and feedback from readers and authors. Analyses of software history that draw upon perspectives and methodologies from other disciplines are encouraged." the once and future web exhibit: "The exhibit includes audio excerpts from the CBI oral history with J.C.R.
