danke chris für die links der letzten tage. va mob software: The Erotic Life of Code" - war ein netter ausgangspunkt. vom mob kam ich zum mud. big ball of mud written by brian foote and joseph yoder. "a big ball of mud is haphazardly structured, sprawling, sloppy, duct-tape and bailing wire, spaghetti code jungle." das brachte mich - aus welchen gründen auch immer - zu jean sammet und ihrem buch: "programming languages: history and fundamentals", 1969 "Feminists praise her for being a successful woman in the male dominated field of computer science. Computer scientists praise her for being a pioneer in the field and the creator of the language FORMAC (FORmula MAniputlation Compiler). Historians praise her for her for her work documenting programming languages." "...I do not consider an assembly language (even a sophisticated one) to be a programming language. This view differs from that held by some people who maintain that anything in which programs are written is a programming language." Jean Sammet, 1969, taken from Computer Pioneers (taken from: sara klettke die site ist zwar optisch ein schlag aufs aug, aber es gibt dort die einzige quotation von sammet, die ich finden konnte - so far). und wenn ich schon dabei bin: es gibt eine nette language übersicht site von a bis x. natürlich auf .ru :). der inhalt ist vielleicht manchmal mit vorsicht zu genießen, aber it´s a starting point und auch mathmatic kommt vor. math-matic und flow-matic, die ersten programmierspachen der computerpionierin grace hopper. ...
